Product Overview

This padlock is commonly used in the Sydney area by meter readers and for telephone exchange access on unit blocks or private houses, particularly in Sydney West. Please confirm with your local provider before ordering.

The "E Key" system is an older standard that remains in use today. Each padlock is supplied with two keys that operate that specific lock. Additional keys can be ordered from Dr Lock either at the time of purchase or later. The supplied keys will only operate the padlock purchased.

We do not supply the master "E Key" or "Tel Key". The padlock is marine-grade, designed for durable outdoor and indoor use. Meter readers hold the master key and can open this lock. Telstra and other communications providers also have the master "Tel Key" to access these locks.

To order additional keys, use the number on the back of your key. Keys must be for locks sold by Dr Lock. Click here to order keys.
